CENTRAL VALLEY, NY, (OCTOBER 24, 2016) – In keeping with tradition, Woodbury Common Premium Outlets will open its doors to local children for a safe evening of trick or treating on Halloween.
The not-so-spooky celebration will take place Monday, Oct. 31, between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Retailers participating in trick or treating will have decals displayed on their windows. Non-candy treats will be available at the central gazebo.
In addition to trick-or-treating, a costume parade will take place between 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. at the gazebo. Winners will be announced in the following categories: Spookiest; Most Creative; Cutest; Funniest; and Best Superhero.
Children are encouraged to register for the costume parade at the gazebo between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. Winners of the contest will get prizes from the popular Magnolia Bakery.
Radio station K104’s Street Team will be onsite leading the costume parade and contest.
“Though we are seen as a tourist destination, we are also very much part of the local community,” said Stephanie Johnson, director of marketing and business development at Woodbury Common Premium Outlets. “We would like to join our neighbors in celebrating the holidays of the year.”
