Walden, N.Y. (February 3, 2012) – Jacobowitz & Gubits is pleased to announce that William E. Duquette Jr. has been named to the board of directors governing Orange County’s not-for-profit emergency housing agency, HONORehe.
Mr. Duquette is a senior associate with Jacobowitz & Gubits’ Real Estate Team. His primary practice is devoted to condominium/HOA, banking and real estate. Bill previously served as an Associate General Counsel with the Jehovah’s Witnesses Office of General Counsel in Patterson, New York.
HONORehe, a United Way Agency, is the only agency under contract with Orange County to provide emergency shelter and companion services for the homeless. The agency has served homeless families, single people and those in crisis due to alcohol and drug abuse for 33 years.
