Nichole Moretto, Amy Cunningham, Karen Winum and Crystal Johnson assume executive roles
MONTGOMERY, N.Y. (March 20, 2019) – Walden Savings Bank is pleased to announce that Nichole L. Moretto, Crystal Johnson, Amy Cunningham and Karen Winum have recently been promoted. All four women have assumed Vice President or Assistant Vice President positions in various divisions of the Bank.
Winum, of Walden, has been elevated to Vice President, Human Resources. In this role, she will be responsible for all aspects of human resources, including payroll, recruitment, performance management and health benefits administration. Winum has been at Walden Savings Bank since 1986 and has served as a Human Resources Assistant, a Human Resources Generalist and most recently, an Assistant Vice President.
Moretto, of Wallkill, is now the Assistant Vice President, Bank Operations Administrator. She was first hired by Walden Savings Bank as a teller in 2006. Since then, she has continued to excel in her career, serving as Head Teller, Assistant Branch Manager and Bank Operations Administrator for the Bank’s Montgomery location. As Assistant Vice President, Bank Operations Administrator, Moretto provides oversight for operational procedures and system utilization at each Walden Savings Bank location, as well as compliance regulations and company policies.
Cunningham, of Washingtonville, has become the Assistant Vice President, Commercial Credit Manager. Cunningham now oversees the commercial loan policies and underwriting, as well as the Asset Quality Review Committee and annual reviews on various loans in the commercial loan portfolio, among others. She has been with Walden Savings Bank since 2004.
Johnson, of Walden, has become the Assistant Vice President, Assistant Controller. She assumes responsibility for overseeing all accounting operations as well as compliance with accounting policies, procedures and internal controls and the investigation of account discrepancies. Johnson previously served as the Bank’s Accounting Manager at its Montgomery headquarters for more than six years.
