MIDDLETOWN, NY (Aug. 19, 2013) – Judelson, Giordano & Siegel, CPA, PC, (JGS), a full service accounting and business consulting firm for more than 80 years, has announced that two of its associates, Domenick T. Del Rosso, CPA, MST, and Ralph J. Martucci, CPA, have been named 2013 Rising Stars.
The awards event is scheduled for Oct. 8 at Anthony’s Pier 9 and will recognize individuals between the ages of 21 and 40 who are up-and-coming leaders in their professional and volunteer lives.
Nominees must live, work or volunteer in Orange County. Selection is based on the individual’s professional and volunteer activities, demonstrated leadership and the impact the nominee has had on his/her organization or community. An independent panel chooses the recipients from a diverse pool of candidates for this annual award. The program is hosted by the award’s Founding Organizations: Junior League of Orange County, Leadership Orange and the Orange County Chamber of Commerce.
Del Rosso, a manager with JGS, is an active member of the Wallkill East Rotary Club. He joined the firm in 2003. Del Rosso is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants where he is a member of the board of directors of the local chapter and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Mount Saint Mary College and his Master of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University.
Martucci, a senior accountant at JGS, is treasurer of the Historical Society of Newburgh Bay and the Highlands’ Board of Managers. Martucci has been with JGS since 2011. He is also the co-chairman of the Young Professionals of the Orange County Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Young CPA Committee of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. He joined the firm from a large accounting firm in Washington D.C., where he specialized in providing services to federal agencies and non-profits.
