Town of Liberty Announces Annual Easter Egg Hunt for Saturday, April 13, 2019

Festivities include egg hunt, special holiday crafts, music and much more for local children.

LIBERTY, N.Y. (April 4, 2019) – Bring your Easter baskets and get ready to have fun. On Saturday, April 13, 2019 the Town of Liberty Parks & Recreation will kick off its annual Easter Egg Hunt. All activities are free thanks to the Town of Liberty Parks & Recreation and Liberty Elks Lodge. In the event of rain, the Easter Egg Hunt will be postponed to Sunday, April 14, 2019.

“We are excited to bring our good, old fashioned Easter Egg Hunt to Liberty residents for another year,” said Town of Liberty Parks and Recreation Assistant Recreation Director James Guara. “It’s a great way for families to celebrate the holiday together with lots of fun-filled activities for all to enjoy.”

The day’s schedule of events is as follows:

10:00 a.m. – Enjoy coloring, special games and activities at the Liberty Senior Center. (119 N. Main Street)

11:00 a.m. – Egg Hunt & activities with Liberty Parks & Recreation begins. Children ages 1–8 will gather on the Liberty Elementary Softball Field for the Easter Egg Hunt, meet the Easter Bunny and win prizes! (201 N. Main Street)

12:00 p.m. – Gather at the Liberty Elks Lodge for lunch, take a photo with the Easter Bunny, and receive an Easter basket filled with goodies! The gathering at the Elks Lodge event will be the only Easter-related event to take place rain or shine. (21 John Street)
