Jermaine Paul to perform free show at premier entertainment venue in Chester
Chester, N.Y. (Feb. 21, 2012) – The Castle Fun Center, the region’s premier entertainment venue, is bringing a little bit of Hollywood to Orange County, N.Y.
On Friday, March 2, at 7 p.m., The Castle Fun Center will host a free concert featuring Jermaine Paul, a top contender in the hit NBC show The Voice, and a Harriman, N.Y. native. No tickets are required, but a $10 activity card must be purchased for any unaccompanied minors.
Jermaine’s love for music began when he was a child, singing in his family’s church and at talent shows. His adoration soon led to collaboration with national talent, including R&B diva Mary J. Blige and R&B group BlackStreet, and most recently, vocalist Alicia Keys. In 2006, he was awarded a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Performance by a Duo for “If This World Were Mine,” a duet with Keys.
When Jermaine is not busy touring with vocalist Alicia Keys or singing his heart out on The Voice, he spends his time right here at home in Orange County, N.Y. The Harriman native is doing a stretch of performances before heading back to Hollywood to continue his quest for stardom and The Castle is the only family-friendly venue hosting a show.
“I just wanted to give back to all those who have supported me here back home,” said Jermaine. “My performance at The Castle is a sort of going away present to my family, friends and fans before I go back to Hollywood to hopefully win it all!”
The star hopeful will perform inside the all new Event Room, which features an exciting 5,000 square feet of space, equipped with a concert stage and state-of-the-art A/V technology.
