New Farmington office is led by Drs. Bing Shue, MD, FACS and Robert K. Botta, MD
FARMINGTON, CONN. (February 3, 2020) – The Vascular Experts, one of the largest groups of Board-certified vascular surgeons in the nation, announced the addition of a new office location in Farmington, Connecticut. The office, which began welcoming patients on December 11, 2019, is located at 55 South Road, Suite 110.
The new office serves communities of the Farmington Valley and the surrounding area. There, patients can receive a range of vascular treatments and procedures including diagnostic testing, minimally invasive treatment and surgical procedures. New patients will be treated by Drs. Bing Shue, MD, FACS and Robert K. Botta, MD.

Bing Shue, MD, FACS is a Board-certified general and vascular surgeon who joined The Vascular Experts in 2019. Dr. Shue specializes in integrated vascular surgery and serves the new Farmington location as well as The Vascular Expert’s office in Southbury, Conn. Previously, Dr. Shue was the Assistant Professor of Vascular Surgery at the University of Connecticut Health Center.
Dr. Shue completed his residency in the Vascular Surgery division at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. He is a member of the Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery, the American Medical Association and the Society for Vascular Surgery.
Robert K. Botta, MD also joined The Vascular Experts in 2019, and treats patients at both the Farmington and Southbury offices. Dr. Botta completed his residency at Yale University in the Vascular Surgery division. He received multiple honors and awards including Resident of the Year from Bridgeport Hospital’s Surgery Trauma Department, the Travel Scholarship from the Society for Vascular Surgery and was selected as a national member of the Society for Vascular Surgery for the Resident and Student Outreach Committee.
Dr. Botta has a vast research background, holding numerous positions within the Department of Endocrinology at Yale University School of Medicine and in the Emergency Care Research Foundation at the Christchurch Hospital in New Zealand. He is a member of the Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery, the Society for Vascular Surgery, the American College of Surgeons and the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research.
The experienced team of Board-certified surgeons at The Vascular Experts maintains surgical privileges at numerous local hospitals with access to specialized medical technology.
