ROYAL WINE CORP. JOINS HUDSON VALLEY FOOD & BEVERAGE ALLIANCE

Two historic wineries join as founding members

MARLBORO, N.Y. (May 29, 2012) – Royal Wine Corporation (RWC), consisting of the historic Herzog Wine Cellars and Kedem Winery, has joined the Hudson Valley Food & Beverage Alliance as a founding member.

Established in 1948 and owned by the Herzog family, Royal Wine Corp. has been shaping a long legacy of traditional winemaking in the Hudson Valley area for more than 50 years. Beginning with kosher wines for sacramental purposes and growing to include an extensive array of wines and juices, the business is known today for its exceptional wines, liquors, spirits and grape juices, which can be found in all 50 states and over 30 countries around the world.

The winery is joining the Hudson Valley Food & Beverage Alliance to lend its wide range of quality products and timeless name to the reputation of the region and its flourishing economy.

The Food & Beverage Alliance focuses on helping food and beverage companies in the region work together as strong partners and market their products all over the United States. Launched by the Hudson Valley Economic Development Corp. (HVEDC), the organization includes food businesses, farmers, vegetable growers, beverage makers, distributors and other organizations in the industry.

At the Kedem Winery, located in Marlboro, New York, Royal Wine exemplifies what it means to truly be a staple of Hudson Valley economic success. The winery produces dozens of different wines from well-known varietals such as Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Riesling to New York specialties such as Concord, Niagara and Baco. Kedem is also a name synonymous with grape juice, producing category leading 100 percent pure grape juices.  In addition to great wines and juices, the Kedem Winery also invites guests in the city and surrounding areas to host events and gatherings within in its historic grounds.
