South Fallsburg, N.Y. (August 1, 2012) – Rolling V Bus Corp., a Sullivan County-based bus transportation company, is proud to announce two new appointments.
Christine Knickerbocker, of Roscoe, N.Y., has been appointed to the position of Human Resource Manager. Knickerbocker was most recently employed by Crystal Run Village, Inc. for the past 13 years, where she was responsible for marketing and public relations.
Prior to this position, she was terminal manager for Rolling V Bus Corp. in charge of the transportation of special needs preschool children living in Orange, Sullivan and Ulster Counties, and a Manhattan advertising agency executive. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio.
John DiTommaso, of Roscoe, N.Y., has been appointed to Facility Manager. DiTommaso has great experience in the construction trades and automotive industry, having owned numerous contracting companies specializing in a variety of trades, including house framing and house painting. He was an auto mechanic for 11 years, an iron worker before then, and has spent the last 10 years in the house remodeling business.
Rolling V and Gershowitz are proud members of the New York School Bus Contractors Association and the American School Bus Council. The companies are family-owned and operated by the Vallone and DeSabato families. The Vallone Family has been in the passenger transportation business for more than 50 years.
