35 drivers receive GreenRoad Fleet Elite membership for exceptional safety records
SOUTH FALLSBURG, N.Y. – Feb. 10, 2016 — Rolling V Bus Corp., a leading provider of passenger transportation in the Catskills Region, announced today that 35 of its drivers were honored with GreenRoad Fleet Elite memberships for their outstanding safety performance in 2015.
Admittance into the Fleet Elite is the top award given by GreenRoad to drivers who have earned exceptional safety scores of five or lower for the year. Overall, drivers who score 20 or below are deemed safe, while scores ranking above 20 indicate increased risk with each additional point. On top of securing an outstanding safety score, drivers must also have completed a minimum of 500 hours of driving time throughout the course of the year.

Each year, Rolling V drivers are responsible for the safe transportation of more than 7,000 school children. The GreenRoad driver performance service became part of Rolling V’s programming in 2009 as a way to reinforce passenger transportation drivers’ safety processes and awareness. Since the program’s launch, Rolling V has experienced positive results and responses from its drivers.
