GOSHEN, N.Y. – Village of Goshen Mayor Kyle Roddey, candidate for the newly formed 99th Assembly District, announced today he has secured the endorsement of Orange County Sheriff Carl DuBois.
“Kyle has a unique blend of business experience and local government success that is exactly what we need in Albany,” said Sheriff DuBois. “Aside from being a successful village mayor and business manager, Kyle is a member of numerous social and business organizations, which proves his commitment to a better Orange County.”
“I’m proud to have Sheriff DuBois in my corner,” said Roddey. “I thank him, and the many others, who have acknowledged my proactive efforts to make Goshen and Orange County a better place to live and work. This endorsement is further evidence for voters of my abilities to lead the people of the 99th district.”
Roddey also holds endorsements from the Orange County Conservative Party, Orange County Independence Party and the Orange County Republican Party. His political career began as a trustee in the Village of Goshen before being elected Mayor in 2011. He has also been managing a small business for over four years and earned a master’s degree in education from Mt. St. Mary’s College in Newburgh. Roddey’s campaign issues include property tax relief, improving New York’s business climate, and mandate relief to improve our schools and decrease the costs.
District 99 is comprised of the Orange County towns of Goshen, Hamptonburgh, Wawayanda, New Windsor, Blooming Grove, Chester, Woodbury, Highlands and Stony Point in Rockland County.
