Residents Now Moving Into Stylish Town of Poughkeepsie Apartments, Featuring Unique Amenities, Comfort and Spacious Work-From-Home Areas

44 Springside Ave., Adjacent to the Arlington Shopping District, Specializes in Sophisticated Living;
Ribbon-Cutting Marks Official Launch After Certificate of Occupancy Secured

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (Sept. 26, 2024) – Tinkelman Architecture’s 44 Springside Avenue luxury apartment building celebrated its grand opening and securement of its Certificate of Occupancy with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event spotlighted the five-story luxury building with stunning views, superb amenities and other customized features to appeal to today’s work-from-home lifestyle.

The first residents have moved into 44 Springside, just off the Town of Poughkeepsie’s eastbound Route 44/55 Arterial. 44 Springside’s pedestrian-friendly neighborhood is a short walk from the bustling Arlington Business District. It’s also minutes from attractions such as Vassar College – including its new farm-to-table Salt Line Hudson Valley restaurant and the 50-room Heartwood at Vassar hotel. Leasing information about 44 Springside is available at https://www.vanwagnerplace.com/44-springside.

The ribbon-cutting celebration, orchestrated by the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce, was heavily attended by elected officials, community business leaders, local dignitaries, neighbors and others. They were impressed by the size of the units, quality detailing, modern, inviting, comfortable spaces, top-floor community room, rooftop terrace with views that stretch for miles and the ground-floor indoor swimming pool. The residential experience at 44 Springside is great for all ages and lifestyles, and all floor plans are single-level.

“We thank all attendees who came to celebrate our official opening,” said Steven Tinkelman, founder and managing partner of Tinkelman Architecture, which developed 44 Springside as part of its Van Wagner Place mixed-use community. “The Arlington neighborhood is already such a treasure, and 44 Springside was specially designed to comfortably align with the community by establishing a superb standard for apartment lifestyles in the immediate area while providing modern quality-of-life amenities perfectly suited to today’s needs.”

44 Springside’s residential units offer ample natural light, up-to-date appliances, energy efficiencies and other conveniences in highly sound-insulated apartments specially designed to secure privacy and comfort. A versatile multi-use space in each apartment can be tailored as a work-from-home setting separate from other living spaces.

The 28 apartments feature varying sizes and layouts. Additional amenities include quartz countertops, high-quality INTUS windows and top-shelf maintenance-free flooring. A well-appointed laundry and storage room in each apartment includes a washer and dryer situated under a counter of Silestone, an attractive, exceedingly durable quartz material. Apartments also are outfitted with Xumo Streamboxes and a smart lock/entry system. The community room and south-facing rooftop terrace offer spectacular views of Vassar College’s campus and the Arlington Business District. The ground floor houses multiple commercial/retail spaces, in addition to the swimming pool. Tenants will include the dynamic British Swim School. Tenants also benefit from ample parking with electric charging stations and a beautifully landscaped neighborhood square.

Tinkelman, with 45 years of design experience, hand-picked unique and distinctive furnishings and other elements for common areas.
44 Springside was developed by Tinkelman Brothers Development Corp., a company affiliated with the design firm. This new residential destination is a major component of Tinkelman’s Van Wagner Place neighborhood. 44 Springside anchors the west end of the community, a safe neighborhood of more than seven acres with stores, professional offices and residences amid a blend of new buildings and repurposed former warehouses. A new walkway will help connect the neighborhood to the Arlington Business District, and the neighborhood will feature a dog park.

“We’re gratified that 44 Springside already is a desirable destination for those seeking a thoughtful housing experience, healthy lifestyle and a stylish, vibrant sense of place,” Tinkelman said.
