Orange County Rural Development Advisory Corporation to also honor Actor Armand Assante, Blair Sebastian and Dickie Baxter at their 2019 Legacy Dinner
Walden, N.Y. (March 14, 2019) – The Orange County Rural Development Advisory Corporation (RDAC) is strengthening homes, people, and communities to better everyday life! They will celebrate their 2019 Legacy Dinner at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29 at Anthony’s Pier 9. RDAC will be honoring Focus Media, Armand Assante, Blair Sebastian and Dickie Baxter with the esteemed Alice Dickinson Legacy Award.
“It is such an exciting opportunity to honor our amazing recipients this year.” said Faith Moore, Executive Director of Orange County RDAC. “Focus Media is Hudson Valley’s leading public relations, media and communications company focusing on economic development and community related organizations. Armand Assante, has strong roots in Orange County with a passion for keeping people in their homes. Blair Sebastian is a veteran advocate and supporter of New York Rural Preservation Companies along with the plethora of housing services they provide. Dickie Baxter, rated number one realtor in closed transactions per HGMLS in 2017 and 2018, is a lifelong resident that prides himself on giving back to the community he loves.
The Alice Dickinson Legacy Award was established in memory of RDAC’s Co-Founder and past 29 year Executive Director. Alice prided herself on promoting, sustaining and developing housing in Orange County. RDAC builds on her legacy of preserving housing and enhancing community preservations and revitalization today. Recipients of the Alice Dickinson Legacy Award embody her passion and devotion not only to RDAC, but also to the community at large. Past recipients include, Larry and Ken Regan, Walden Savings Bank, Joseph Czajka, Curasi Realty, Brian Maher, Legal Services of the Hudson Valley, Richard J. Smith, Retired Senator Bill Larkin, The Devitt Family of Montgomery and the Orange County Citizens Foundation. Tickets to the 2019 Legacy Dinner are $95 and include cocktail hour, top shelf open bar, full dinner, acoustic music by Jason Casterlin, and silent auction.
