Suffern, NY (October 25, 2012) — Ramapo Anesthesia, one of the most respected and fastest-growing anesthesia providers in the Northeast, is pleased to welcome Dr. David Vent, M.D. as the newest member of its anesthesiology team at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, N.Y.
Dr. David Vent has been a practicing physician since 2007, when he graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. George’s University School of Medicine. Most recently, he was an attending anesthesiologist at Westchester Medical Center. Dr. Vent has authored several scholarly articles and maintains a number of professional affiliations, including those with the American and the New York Societies of Anesthesiologists.
Dr. Vent undertook his residency in anesthesiology at SUNY Upstate Medical University, where earlier, in 2001, he obtained his degree in biology. Apart from his exceptional medical career, Dr. Vent also has experience in academia. In 2002, he served as the university’s Department of Education Services Instructor for Biochemistry, thereafter assisting in script production for a film developed for incoming microbiology students.
