Pick-Your-Own Pumpkin Farms Draw Visitors to the Hudson Valley

Fresh produce and fun activities for the whole family can be found at Orange County Farms!

ORANGE COUNTY, N.Y. (October 12, 2017) – Whether for decorating, carving or baking, pumpkins take center stage during the month of October.  And all this month, Hudson Valley farms are providing visitors with the added pleasure of heading into the field to select just the right one. With plenty of additional activities to enjoy, a day at one of the many “pick-your-own” farms in Orange County is fun for the entire family.

“Pumpkins dot the countryside here, adding little pops of orange cheer at our farms,” said Orange County Tourism Director Susan Hawvermale. “Nestle into the hay on a wagon ride to find one for the perfect jack-o-lantern or a delicious pie!”
