MONTICELLO-Sullivan County Partnership new Board Chairman Josh Sommers is bullish on the prospect of Native American casinos in the county. “We’re very hopeful because a class three casino coming or Concord developing a couple of thousand jobs, that will be the game changer that will make economic development efforts so much easier,” he said. “We hope it happens but there are a lot of questions as to the timing.” Partnership President Timothy McCausland said the Concord project has been very quiet with no new news about development moving forward.
