Middletown, NY – Orange Regional Medical Center will host free educational seminars “Bariatric Weight Loss Surgery” on Tuesday, July 2, and Tuesday, August 6 at 6:00 p.m. at Orange Regional Medical Center located at 707 East Main Street in Middletown, NY. In addition, Orange Regional will host a seminar on Tuesday, July 16, at 6:00 p.m. at Crystal Run Healthcare located at 61 Emerald Place in Rock Hill, NY.
Janet Klein, MS, RDN, CDN, CDE, Orange Regional’s Bariatric Surgery Program Director, will be the host for this information-filled seminar where obesity treatment options will be discussed.
The seminar focuses on providing the consumer with a general overview of the surgical weight loss program at Orange Regional. Attendees have the opportunity to learn criteria needed to meet surgery eligibility; receive a detailed review of surgical procedures; an explanation of complications that can be associated with surgery; an understanding of the patient care process before, during and after surgery, and an understanding the commitment to post-operative follow-up.
