Middletown, NY- Orange Regional Medical Center’s Center for Sleep Medicine has relocated to its newly constructed facility in the Orange Regional Medical Pavilion located at 75 Crystal Run Road, Suite G-22 in Middletown, NY.
The Center for Sleep Medicine offers patients an inviting, contemporary facility designed with the latest technology to diagnose sleep disorders within a relaxing environment. Patients take comfort in a private bedroom equipped with individual temperature controlled settings, a flat screen television and private bath. Continental breakfast or lunch is provided to all patients. The Center for Sleep Medicine is led by Alan Schaffer, MD, who has been practicing Sleep Medicine since 1995 and is also staffed by Board-certified physicians and specially-trained technicians. The Center also diagnoses pediatric patients five years and above and provides accommodations for parents and guardians.

Sleep study services, performed at Orange Regional’s Center for Sleep Medicine, aid in the diagnosis of a potential sleep disorder. This painless, non-invasive, test is conducted by our technicians who monitor a number of factors including breathing, heart rate and blood oxygen levels, as well as eye movement and muscle tone.
