NEW WINDSOR – The new Orange County Business Accelerator, which was formed by Orange County and its Industrial Development Agency, will be employing a big marketing push to get its message out.
The accelerator has hired Focus Media to develop a marketing plan to designed to help new business receive the guidance they need to survive and grow.
The PR firm’s president Josh Sommers plans to develop branding and messages for audiences and to deliver those messages to different segments with multiple platforms. “It’s important to have multiple touch points.” he said.
Sommers also intends to market the accelerator through social media groups such as Facebook and LinkedIn.
OCBA, located at 4 London Avenue in New Windsor, Stewart International Airport, is a business incubator program launched by the Orange County Industrial Development Agency (IDA). The incubator, 10,000 square feet of class-A high-tech research and development space, is designed to attract new entrepreneurial investment by providing businesses with below market occupancy costs, a menu of mentoring programs and a high-tech plug-and-play office environment.
