Mid-Hudson St. Patrick’s Parade, Goshen, Sunday, March 11: Parade lineup begins at 1:00 p.m. at the Orange County Government Center parking lot in Goshen. Parade steps off at 2:00 p.m. www.mhspp.org
St. Patrick’s Day Open House Workshop, Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame, 240 Main Street, Goshen, Sunday, March 11, 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.: Families with children ages 3-12 can engage in festive activities including crafts and horse-themed games, or take a ride on the Harness Racing 3D Simulator prior to the Mid-Hudson Saint Patrick’s Parade. www.harnessmuseum.com

St. Patrick’s Day Snakes, Wildlife Education Center at Hudson Highlands Nature Museum, 120 Muser Drive, Cornwall, Saturday, March 17, 10:00-11:00 a.m.: Legend says that Ireland has no snakes because St. Patrick chased them into the sea.
