The Hudson Valley hosts a variety of races for the casual jogger to the elite competitor.
ORANGE COUNTY, N.Y. (May 11, 2017) – With its winding country roads, rugged hilly terrain and quaint neighborhoods, Orange County is a prime location for athletic competitions. Race season kicks off with the mild spring weather and sprints on through the crisp weekends of fall. These competitions are drawing athletes of all calibers from near and far.
“Hike it, bike it, and run it,” said Orange County Tourism Director Susan Hawvermale. “Sports events choose Orange County for our challenging courses set within the backdrop of our stunning scenery.”
