Orange County, NY (Sept. 25, 2024) – The Orange County Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to unveil its inaugural professional awards, “5 Under 50; The Shining Stars!” on Nov. 7, 2024, at Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center. This event promises to be a celebration of outstanding professionals who have made significant contributions to enhancing Orange County’s status as the premier destination to live and work in New York.
Nominations for the prestigious “5 Under 50; The Shining Stars!” awards are open and can be submitted HERE. Donna Cornell, the esteemed 2023 Champion of the Chamber and nationally recognized staffing professional, as well as a two-time author, will lead the committee overseeing the selection process. Joining her are esteemed Chamber Champions: Josh Sommers, Alan Seidman and James P. Smith. This distinguished panel will ensure that the awards uphold the highest standards of excellence and integrity.
Heather Bell, President & CEO of the Orange County Chamber of Commerce, expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming event, stating, “We strive to be unique, not replicating what our neighboring chamber partners are promoting, and wanted our professional awards to be just that. These awards are intended to honor those professionals who, through a criterion, have excelled in making Orange County the best place to work and live in New York!”
The “5 Under 50; The Shining Stars!” awards aim to recognize professionals aged 50 and under who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, innovation and dedication to their respective fields. By shining a spotlight on these individuals, the Orange County Chamber of Commerce seeks to inspire others and to foster a culture of excellence within the community.
