ORANGE COUNTY BUSINESS ACCELERATOR SIGNS TRACKING SYSTEMS AS NEWEST CLIENT

New Windsor, N.Y. – March 28, 2011 – Orange County Business Accelerator is proud to announce its newest associate client, Tracking Systems, Inc.

From L to R: Orange County Business Accelerator Enterprise Development Director Peter Gregory and Managing Director Michael DiTullo take a break recently from working on business strategies with Robert Glemming, Vice President Marketing and Sales for Tracking Systems, the Accelerator’s newest associate client.

“The Accelerator has a proven track record with its Associate Client Plan and we feel Tracking Systems will benefit greatly from the program,” said Managing Director Michael DiTullo. “The firm already has a presence in the Hudson Valley and, in joining the Accelerator, they’ve come to the right place for expert entrepreneurial advice and guidance on how to grow and prosper into the future.”

Tracking Systems, a women-owned business, specializes in producing customized GPS solutions for public, private and business use. Though the company provides standard GPS tracking systems for cars, trucks and trailers, it’s taking the possibilities of GPS to new heights with its integration of sensors. These sensors have the ability to monitor temperature for keeping produce, meat and cheese fresh, as well as oil pump operation and snow plow position on a truck. These integrated features allow a fleet manager or business owner to remotely scrutinize a variety of systems for each car or truck on the system.

Vice President of Marketing and Sales Robert Glemming  said, “Our new integrated tracking management system is designed to increase productivity, heighten security and expand the reach of a business.

The Accelerator has the knowledge and tools to help us promote this new technology and bring this company to the next level.”

With the new firm, the Accelerator now boasts 15 clients and tenants, employing more than 45 people at its 4 London Ave., New Windsor, N.Y., office. These early-stage start-ups have the potential to create between 350 and 500 jobs in Orange County in the next five years.

OCBA, located at 4 London Avenue in New Windsor, N.Y. at Stewart International Airport, is a business incubator program launched by the Orange County Industrial Development Agency (IDA). The incubator, 10,000 square feet of Class A high-tech research and development space, is designed to attract new entrepreneurial investment by providing businesses with below market occupancy costs, a menu of mentoring programs and a high-tech plug-and-play office environment.
