On Thursday, April 14, Accelerator and 4e officials, surrounded by friends, family and other supporters, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Accelerator officially kicking of the firm’s residency at 4 London Ave, New Windsor, N.Y.
“The Accelerator has a proven track record with its Associate Client Plan, which is evident here in 4e Productions’ evolution into residency here,” said Managing Director Michael DiTullo. “The firm has made great strides since joining in mid-2010 as an associate client, and now they’ve taken their business development efforts to the next level.”
Orange County Executive Edward Diana said, “The Accelerator has become a key contributor to Orange County’s economic development team since opening in 2009 and continues to bring innovative early-stage businesses to Orange County that have long-term goals of creating real jobs, real close to home. Its newest client, 4e Productions, is another company with a strong business model and great possibility for future expansion here in Orange County, N.Y.”
4e Productions, a multi-media music and video production company, directs its material in an effort to “enlighten, empower and enrich everyone” – a phrase which accounts for the company name. 4e, which has doubled its workforce in previous months, operates several divisions, including 4e MUSIC (ASCAP publisher of songs), 4e 4kids (children’s programs) and 4e 4all (niche programs/universal programs for all audiences).
“4e Productions is grateful to the Accelerator for making us part of its family and providing a foundation to tap into the wonderful energy that resides in Orange County,” said Will Rodman, co-founder and C4eO of 4e Productions. “OCBA has been a valuable resource and a conduit to other community organizations that have aligned with the values and mission of 4e.”
“Letters To Daddy: The Musical Key to Bully-Free”, which will debut in September and be delivered to local elementary and middle schools in 2011-2012, is the first in a series of empowering programs by 4e Productions that will be offered to the children of Orange County to strengthen character and enhance their ability to mitigate the impact of challenging experiences like bullying.
Rodman added, “4e is focused primarily on children because we believe they are our present. They are a gift…and they are now. It is through their development and guidance that we will see a lasting effect and a brighter future for tomorrow.”
The Accelerator currently boasts 15 clients and tenants, employing more than 45 people at its 4 London Ave., New Windsor, N.Y., office. These early-stage startups have the potential to create between 350 and 500 jobs in Orange County in the next five years.
OCBA, located at 4 London Avenue in New Windsor, N.Y. at Stewart International Airport, is a business incubator program launched by the Orange County Industrial Development Agency (IDA). The incubator, 10,000 square feet of Class A high-tech research and development space, is designed to attract new entrepreneurial investment by providing businesses with below market occupancy costs, a menu of mentoring programs and a high-tech plug-and-play office environment.
