The Accelerator invited to participate at major NYC business expo this month
New Windsor, N.Y. – November 9, 2011 – Orange County Business Accelerator continues its aggressive outreach efforts this year with its participation in the 6th Annual New York Xpo for Business in New York City this month.
“It’s a great opportunity for us to engage the real decision-makers, the visionaries whose focus is job creation and growth,” said Enterprise Development Director Peter Gregory. “This is a chance to reach entrepreneurs who might not have even thought of Orange County to be the great place to do business that it truly is.”
The event, which will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 16, at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in Manhattan, will feature the opportunity to connect and collaborate with more than 15,000 business owners and professionals from across the country. This free event is the largest and most profitable B2B marketplace in the Northeast, featuring over 300 exhibits, 30-plus educational workshops, special events, including a social media business forum, and one of the largest after-hours networking event in the country.
Through its association with the Business Incubator Association of New York State (BIANYS), the Accelerator was recognized for its rapid growth of business impact as a point-source of services to entrepreneurs and was invited to join Empire State Development (ESD) in a special pavilion dedicated to business development organizations from around the state. Accelerator client Gerson Levitas, owner of 911 Family of Products, will also participate with a booth at the event.
OCBA Managing Director Michael J. DiTullo added, “The Accelerator has always been proactive in building strong relationships with small business owners and entrepreneurs with dreams of job growth and prosperity. We’re anxious to reach thousands of prospective Orange County businessmen and women at this event.”
