Goshen, N.Y. (Nov. 21, 2012) – At 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 3, Head Chef Dan Durant from Billy Joe’s Ribworks in Newburgh will provide seniors with a mouth-watering meal in Glen Arden’s Crystal Dining Room. The occasion is part of a new dining series that kicked off in September titled “Chef Showcase,” that will take place quarterly at Glen Arden.
The Chef Showcase is open to seniors 62 and older, and admission is free. Each event will feature one or two chefs from a local restaurant, and will give residents and area seniors the opportunity to sample different foods.
“We received rave reviews from the first Showcase, and we’re looking forward to another successful event,” said Melissa McCoy, Elant’s Director of Corporate Initiatives. “We’re thankful for the participation from these local restaurants, and are proud to be able to provide our residents and area seniors with a little something special.”
Chef Dan Durant will prepare lunch for attendees on Dec. 3 in conjunction with Glen Arden Chef Craig Merrill. Guests will also have the opportunity to learn about all of the services and amenities that Glen Arden has to offer, and participate in a tour. Space is limited, and reservations are required.
