Event to coincide with end of Season Pass sale, job fair
WARWICK, N.Y. (October 8, 2018) – Mount Peter, New York’s family mountain, is gearing up for its 25th Annual Great American Ski and Snowboard Sale on October 20 and 21. The sale will take place from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on both days, in Mount Peter’s Sunrise Lodge.
Mount Peter’s event partner, Ski Barn, will be bringing a huge inventory of clothing, equipment, accessories and other gear to the ski area, available at heavily discounted prices.
“The energy at ski sale weekend is always tremendous,” said Carol Forshay, Marketing Director at Mount Peter. “First of all, the selection of gear at such discounted prices is remarkable for the skiing and snowboarding community. But, even more so, it’s exciting to watch the mountain come alive, and to reconnect with longtime and new guests during a fun couple of days.”
Mount Peter’s annual ski sale will provide family fun on both Saturday and Sunday. Visitors will be able to enjoy chairlift rides – the perfect way to take in the mountain’s scenic views right at the height of leaf peeping season. Other activities will include a pumpkin painting station and a bounce house for kids, live performances by popular local bands, and Mount Peter’s Hot Spot Grill will be open for business. Adult beverages – beer and wine – will be available for purchase, as well as non-alcoholic options.
Mount Peter’s 2018-2019 Season Pass Sale will also be wrapping up on Sunday, October 21. That will be the last day to purchase Season Passes at the following discounted rates:
Adult Unlimited Season Pass: $309 (regularly $549)
Junior Unlimited Season Pass: $279 (regularly $519)
The ski sale is also good time to sign up for any of Mount Peter’s multi-week or race programs for the 2018-2019 season. And, for anyone interested in working at the ski area this winter, a job fair will be going on under the Mount Peter tent.
