Historic hotel and resort welcomed as a founding member
NEW WINDSOR, N.Y. (May 4, 2012) – Mohonk Mountain House, a National Historic Landmark resort and Historic Hotel of America located in New York’s Hudson Valley, has joined the Hudson Valley Food & Beverage Alliance as a founding member.
Owned and operated by the Smiley Family since its founding in 1869, Mohonk Mountain House has provided guests with recreation and renewal of body, mind and spirit in a beautiful natural setting for 143 years. The resort is located on 1,200 acres in the midst of a 40,000-acre natural area.
The hotel and resort is joining the Hudson Valley Food & Beverage Alliance to bring its hospitable name and unique allure to an already rich market of renowned products and services associated with the industrious Hudson Valley region.

The Food & Beverage Alliance focuses on helping food and beverage companies in the region work together as strong partners and market their products all over the United States. Launched by the Hudson Valley Economic Development Corp. (HVEDC), the organization includes food businesses, farmers, vegetable growers, beverage makers, distributors and other organizations in the industry.
