NEW WINDSOR, N.Y. (August 27, 2018) — Mobile Life Support Services, the largest emergency medical provider in the Hudson Valley, will host an informational session in Westchester County. Healthcare professionals, such as EMTs, paramedics, nurses, and hospital administrators, as well as local residents and the general public, are invited to come and inquire about Mobile Life and the services it offers. The Open House event will take place at the Holiday Inn Express located at 2 John Walsh Boulevard, Peekskill, N.Y., on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 from 4 to 7 p.m.
Mobile Life currently operates 25 stations across the region, including their newest addition, Station 40, in the City of Peekskill. The company’s ambulance fleet is composed of more than 60 vehicles, which are dispersed throughout the Hudson Valley, including Dutchess, Orange, Rockland, Ulster and Westchester counties.
“Mobile Life is more than just an ambulance service,” said Mobile Life President and CEO Scott Woebse. “This open house is a way for area residents to get to know us better and see that a team of professional, compassionate and dependable EMS professionals are ready and able to serve their community in times of need. It also serves as an opportunity to interface with members of the healthcare industry who live and work in Westchester County and discover potential partnerships.”
The company employs more than 500 EMS professionals and serves as the designated 911-EMS Agency for more than a dozen municipalities, including Newburgh, Middletown, Kingston and Poughkeepsie, and provides emergent and nonemergent ambulance transportation services to most of the 14 hospitals in its service region.
Mobile Life administration and staff will be available at next month’s event to answer questions about the company, its services and its coverage area. Members of the Human Resources department will also be on-site for certified EMTs and paramedics – as well as those looking to explore a career in emergency services – who may have questions regarding employment with Mobile Life.
