MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. (Jan. 17, 2013) – Judelson, Giordano & Siegel, CPA, PC, is pleased to announce that Michael Hood has joined the firm as a Staff Accountant.
Hood joins the firm from a mid-size accounting firm in Chestnut Ridge with a background in preparing tax returns and financial statements and performing audit, review and compilation engagements. At Judelson, Giordano & Siegel, he will provide full-service support to the staff on a variety of accounting, business consulting and auditing projects.

Hood holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Mount Saint Mary College, Newburgh, and is pursuing a Master of Science in Taxation at Bentley University, Waltham, Mass. Hood also served on the Audit Committee of the Orange County Land Trust in Middletown.

Hood also belongs to the International Fiscal Association and is a volunteer for the Orange County Land Trust. He resides in Florida, N.Y., with his wife and two children.
