WARWICK, N.Y. (October 15, 2018) – Mount Peter, New York’s family mountain, always offers the best in local music every season. This year, the live music calendar kicks off with two performances during the ski area’s 25th Annual Great American Ski and Snowboard Sale on October 20 and 21. The sale takes place from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., with live music from Noon until 3:00 p.m., both days.
On Saturday, October 20, Mount Peter presents The Lost Dogs. The duo of Rick Hagedorn on guitar and vocals, and Tom Cassano on mandolin deliver a sing-along mix of rock and folk classics, a little bit of bluegrass and some good ol’ Outlaw Country.
On Sunday, October 21, the mountain welcomes the acoustic stylings of Old Friends (Art & Scott). Old Friends invites you to “re-live the memories” as they perform yesterday’s hits from the late 50’s, 60’s and early 70’s. Their crowd-pleasing sets include enduring favorites by Simon and Garfunkel, the Everly Brothers, Bee Gees, The Moody Blues, The Beatles, America and many more.

The annual ski sale will be held inside the Sunrise Lodge. Mount Peter’s event partner, Ski Barn, will be providing a huge inventory of clothing, equipment, accessories and other gear at heavily discounted prices. A full schedule of family fun will be going on both days, including chairlift rides, pumpkin painting and a bounce house for kids. Mount Peter’s Hot Spot Grill will be open for business and adult and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
Mount Peter’s 2018-2019 Season Pass Sale also wraps up on Sunday, October 21, marking the last opportunity to purchase Season Passes at the following discounted rates:
