LeChase Construction Services has begun renovating Westchester County government offices at 110 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in downtown White Plains, N.Y.
Crews are renovating some 40 rooms – including offices, conference rooms and bathrooms – in 22,000 square feet of a low-rise section of the county’s headquarters. The project also includes upgrading the heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems with two new air handlers and new ductwork.
The enhancements will improve spaces on two floors, but crews will work on one floor at a time so that the other floor remains operational.
“Our aim is to provide a more comfortable, attractive area for county employees to carry out important government functions,” said LeChase Vice President David Campbell, who leads the company’s New York Metro office. “We will work closely with county employees throughout the project to ensure that we provide the needed enhancements without hindering their daily operations.”
The project also includes upgrading four elevators located in the low-rise wing as well as the taller, adjoining section of the county offices at 148 Martine Ave. The work is expected to be completed in early 2026.
