Jewish Federation Presents Its 3rd Annual Film Festival

Series of five films to be shown through November and December

October 26, 2011 (Newburgh, N.Y.) – The Jewish Federation of Greater Orange County is pleased to announce its third annual Jewish Film Festival, which will run from Sunday, Nov. 6 to Saturday, Dec. 3 at both Chester Academy located in Chester, and Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh.

A series of five films, the festival lineup features genres for all ages and interests, including a musical, historical documentary and semi-autobiographical movie for tweens. Entry is $5 per adult and free for children under 14. Tickets purchased in advance for all five films are available for $15. Refreshments will be available at each showing. On Saturday, Nov. 19, proceeds from the evening’s film will go toward The Parents Circle, an organization which has spearheaded a reconciliation process between Israelis and Palestinians.

The Jewish Film Festival is made possible by the generosity of Orange Regional Medical Center, Orange and Rockland, and all patrons of the arts.
