Jason Finkelberg to add broadcasting business experience to HVEDC board

New Windsor – A broadcasting executive is the newest member on the board of the Hudson Valley Economic Development Corp.

Jason Finkelberg, the Market Manager for Pamal Broadcasting, oversees seven radio stations in the Hudson Valley and is responsible for all aspects of programming, sales, engineering and operations at 100.7 WHUD (WHUD-FM/Peekskill), K104 (WSPK-FM/Poughkeepsie), 107.1 The Peak (WXPK-FM/Briarcliff), Classic Hits 92.9 (WBPM-FM/Saugerties) and The Hudson Valley Talk Radio Network (WLNA/Peekskill, WBNR/Beacon, WGHQ/Kingston). Finkelberg joined Pamal Broadcasting in 2005 as the Sales Manager for WHUD and was promoted shortly after to Market Manager. Prior to joining Pamal Broadcasting, Finkelberg worked at Interep in New York City as the Director of Sales for McGavren Guild Radio.

“Jason has a vast background in the broadcasting business and a great knowledge of the Hudson Valley and the business community,” said Mike Oates, CEO and President of the group. “Jason has an excellent grasp of the market and will help us in all phases of economic development. We are excited to have him join the board of HVEDC.”

HVEDC is the leading economic development agency for the seven-county region that includes Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Rockland, Orange, Ulster and Sullivan counties.

Finkelberg is looking forward to joining the board. “The Hudson Valley is the greatest place in the world to work, live and play,” he said. “I look forward to working with HVEDC on the important issues of the Hudson Valley and to create new opportunities for the region.”

Finkelberg was born and raised in Ardsley, N.Y. He graduated from California State University at Humboldt with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism. He lives in Pleasantville, N.Y., with his wife Stephanie and four children.
