NEW WINDSOR, N.Y. (April 22, 2013) — The Hudson Valley Economic Development Corporation (HVEDC) announced today that energy services entrepreneur James Bernardo has joined the organization’s board of directors.
Bernardo, the founder of Candela Systems Corp., has spent 22 years in the energy services field, many of which have been focused on technological innovations in energy efficiency. His company has spearheaded a number of energy-efficient lighting initiatives in partnership with the Environmental Protection Agency, and Bernardo himself has been awarded two U.S. patents.
