Walden, N.Y. (July 30, 2012) –Jacobowitz & Gubits Senior Counsel Sanford (Sandy) R. Altman has been named the Honorary Chair of the Hudson Valley Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association’s 2012 Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Orange County.
Continuing their commitment to community service, Jacobowitz & Gubits will also have a team of employees participate in the walk, to be held at 9:00am on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Thomas Bull Memorial Park in Montgomery, N.Y.
“The walk is a great way to support an important cause,” explained Altman. “There is now a definitive PET Scan for Alzheimer’s, so now we just need to find a cure to help those who are diagnosed with this terrible disease. Finding this missing piece – the cure – is what this walk is all about.”
“We are pleased to be able to support Sandy’s work with the Alzheimer’s Association, and together with our employees help to raise the funds necessary to find a cure,” said Gerald Jacobowitz, Jacobowitz & Gubits Senior Partner.
