Walden, N.Y. (December 31, 2012) – Jacobowitz & Gubits is pleased to announce that Managing Partner Larry Wolinsky has been named Chairman of the Board at Hudson Valley Pattern for Progress.

Mr. Wolinsky was most recently Vice Chairman of the not-for-profit policy, planning, advocacy and research organization whose mission is to promote regional, balanced and sustainable solutions that enhance the growth and vitality of the Hudson Valley. He has been with the organization in excess of ten years and has played an integral part in Pattern’s regional planning and policy efforts. He is widely known for his role in the creation and implementation of many of the Valley’s most regionally significant development projects.

Mr. Wolinsky joined Jacobowitz & Gubits in 1984 and became a partner in 1990. He leads the firm’s Environmental/Land Use Team and is also a member of the Municipal team. In addition to his service at Pattern, Mr. Wolinsky is Vice Chair of the SUNY New Paltz Foundation, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Sullivan County Partnership for Economic Development.
