Walden, N.Y. (April 30, 2013) — Jacobowitz & Gubits has announced that Antoinette M. Caruso, an associate with the firm’s litigation team, has been admitted to the New York State Bar.
As a member of the litigation team, Ms. Caruso focuses on general civil litigation matters as they apply to real estate, equine, employment and discrimination law. Her extensive experience in both the equine and real estate industries enables her to more effectively understand and represent these clients and the complex issues they face.
“We are very pleased to announce that Antoinette Caruso has been accepted to the New York State Bar,” said Larry Wolinsky, Managing Partner at Jacobowitz & Gubits. “She is a very committed, knowledgeable and hard-working member of our team, who provides sound counsel to clients across a variety of practice areas. We congratulate her on this accomplishment and wish her luck as she enters the next phase of her legal career.”
An accomplished scholar, Caruso received her J.D. from the New York Law School, earning summa cum laude honors, and graduating in the top 1 percent of her class. She was a finalist for the Trustee’s Award for the highest overall grade point average, a Harlan Scholar with the Center for Real Estate Studies, and an online staff editor of the New York Law School Law Review.
Before choosing to practice law, Caruso received her bachelor’s degree, cum laude, in 2002 from Midway College in Kentucky. She majored in biology and minored in chemistry, completing her degree in just three years.
“I look forward to continuing my legal career at Jacobowitz & Gubits as a member of the New York State Bar,” Caruso said. “This is truly an exciting step forward, and I look forward to continuing to serve our clients as a member of the litigation team.”
