Walden, N.Y. (August 28, 2012) – The Jacobowitz & Gubits law firm has announced that Larry Wolinsky has been appointed Managing Partner of the firm. Howard Protter, the previous Managing Partner, will remain a Partner at the firm and devote his full attention to client legal work. Michele L. Babcock will assume the role of Assistant Managing Partner. These changes are effective September 1, 2012.

Wolinsky joined Jacobowitz & Gubits in 1984 and became a partner in 1990. He leads the firm’s Environmental/Land Use Team and is also a member of the Municipal team. Wolinsky is well known in the Hudson Valley and currently serves as Vice Chair of both the Hudson Valley Pattern for Progress and the SUNY New Paltz Foundation, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Sullivan County Partnership for Economic Development.
