GOSHEN, N.Y. (June 5, 2012) – The Ruby Group has announced that it has reached an agreement with IKEA Paramus to furnish one of the recently completed homes at the Vista Woods at Blooming Grove. IKEA Paramus’ furnishing consultant designed each room of the model home at the new development, completed by The Ruby Group. IKEA is a Swedish-based company that is a global retailer that offers quality furniture and other home and business accessories. IKEA strives to be ‘The Life Improvement Store,’ and has offered home furnishings of good design and function, at low prices so the majority of people can afford them.
“We are extremely proud to work with IKEA Paramus for the model home at our new Vista Woods at Blooming Grove development,” said Peter Berman, CEO of The Ruby Group. “Through this project, we will have attractive, quality furniture in our showcase home for people interested in moving to one of our Vista Woods developments in Blooming Grove or Shawangunk, and at the same time we will promote the variety of furniture items that IKEA Paramus has to offer. It is truly a mutually beneficial relationship.”
Working together was a natural for both companies. Both The Ruby Group and IKEA are well known for the quality and value that they provide to their clients and customers as well as their emphasis to live more sustainably by saving energy and reducing waste.
For most residents of the Hudson Valley, IKEA Paramus is located less than 40 miles away in Paramus, N.J., making it a convenient location with easy access. And, if Hudson Valley residents would like a first-hand look at IKEA furniture in a home, there is now the Vista Woods at Blooming Grove model home.
The model home will be open to the public as a showcase unit for those considering a home at Vista Woods at Blooming Grove or Vista Woods at Shawangunk. Both developments have been already well received by future homeowners, who have responded to their great value, excellent location and high level of construction quality. The Blooming Grove development features 14 home sites and Shawangunk features 17.
“Once visitors see the outstanding furniture featured in our model home, we’re confident that they’ll strongly consider IKEA’s products when furnishing their own homes in the future,” said Berman. “By using IKEA products, we are helping people better visualize the great layouts and spaces we have in our homes.”
“We were excited that The Ruby Group presented us with this opportunity to completely furnish this model home,” said Lars Ottosson, IKEA Paramus Store Manager. “Orange County is only a short 40-minute drive from our store and we feel that the model home is a great representation of what IKEA customers are looking for. We wanted to give them a sense of how their dream home can become a reality.”
