GOSHEN, N.Y. (December 4, 2018) – The Hudson Valley Economic Development Corporation (HVEDC) announced the appointment of Sue Sullivan of iSER Consulting to its Board of Directors.
Sullivan, who founded iSER Consulting in 2013, serves as President of the project management firm that identifies incentives for capital expansion projects, provides construction/project management services, and financial reporting services. A 30-year resident of the Hudson Valley, Sullivan has secured hundreds of millions of dollars for clients, managed construction projects throughout the region and related reporting. Incentives are secured through federal, state and local grant and economic development sources, employee-based tax credits, brownfield cleanup tax credits and tax/sales tax abatement.
Sullivan prides herself on developing strong relationships with her clients, pinpointing unexpected opportunities and making connections. The alignment of project goals with incentives, project management and financial reporting ensure that regional companies and not-for-profits can expand, complete their projects and receive their benefits expeditiously.
“HVEDC is going through an incredible transition to advocate for the burgeoning entrepreneurial community in the Hudson Valley,” said Sullivan. “HVEDC has been extremely active in both attracting new businesses to the area and supporting regional businesses who are growing and expanding. As the Hudson Valley economy continues to flourish, HVEDC provides business owners with access to comprehensive resources to help them succeed. It is an honor to be a part of this organization.”
Sullivan holds a master’s degree in public administration from Marist College and an undergraduate degree from Syracuse University. Over her career, she has worked successfully in the public and private sector, understanding the inner workings of government and public support. Her experience in community revitalization and establishing public/private partnership, have given her the skills needed to develop consistent and effective communications to help her clients achieve their goals.
“Sue is a fantastic addition to our board,” said Mike Oates, President and CEO of HVEDC. “We look forward to benefitting from her vast experience and insight in our region’s business community as we continue pushing to create a thriving, long-lasting business community here in the Hudson Valley.”
