The flight will depart Westchester County Airport in White Plains taking veterans on an all-expense paid trip to visit our nation’s war memorials. Veterans will travel by a police-escorted bus convoy while in D.C. for the daylong trip. It is scheduled to return around 7:45 p.m. the same day.

“It’s hard to believe we are on Mission #20 already. Even though we’ve organized 19 missions, our goal remains the same… to honor our Hudson Valley veterans with a once in a lifetime trip to Washington D.C.,” said Chairman Frank Kimler. “It’s an honor for us, and those who support Hudson Valley Honor Flight, to give our heroes this gift of seeing the war memorials that honor their service. We are more committed than ever to finding WWII and Korea veterans to take part in the Honor Flight experience.”
“Mission #20 – WOW! There are so many people who have helped us get to this point, and we are so thankful to them. We are also extremely grateful to ShopRite for their generosity and support of all of our missions,” said Executive Director Jennifer DeFrancesco. “We invite the public to join us for either the morning send-off or the evening welcome home reception to cheer on and thank our Hudson Valley veterans.”
