Frank Kimler elected to serve as member and treasurer
WALDEN, N.Y. (Feb. 6, 2020) — Hudson Valley Honor Flight is pleased to announce that current board Chairman Frank Kimler, a Tax and Accounting Manager with Nugent & Haeussler, P.C. of Montgomery, has been elected to serve on the national board of directors for the Honor Flight Network. Kimler will serve as a board member and treasurer for a term of two years.
“The national board of the Honor Flight Network is thrilled to add Frank Kimler as a new board member and treasurer,” said Meredith Rosenbeck, CEO of Honor Flight Network. “Frank’s experience professionally as an accountant, as well as his years of service with Hudson Valley Honor Flight, will be a wonderful asset to our national organization.”
The Honor Flight Network is a national network comprised of 125 independent hubs working together in furtherance of the Honor Flight mission. Of the 125 hubs the Honor Flight Network oversees, Hudson Valley Honor Flight is one. All of the hubs together have escorted 222,123 veterans from all across the United States.

Hudson Valley Honor Flight (HVHF) is a local nonprofit based in Walden which honors Hudson Valley area veterans for all their sacrifices by bringing them to Washington, D.C. to visit their respective war memorials at no cost to them. HVHF is also the local hub of the National Honor Flight Network, which has more than 100 independent non-profit “hubs” nationwide.
