Additions include accounting firm and bakery business
NEW WINDSOR, N.Y. (December 7, 2012) – The Hudson Valley Food & Beverage Alliance, a group dedicated to promoting the food and beverage industry throughout the region, has announced that two organizations have joined its membership.
Judelson, Giordano & Siegel, CPA, PC of Middletown and Fresh n’ Easy Bakery of Kingston have become founding members of the Alliance, which focuses on helping food and beverage companies in the area work together as strong partners. Launched by Hudson Valley Economic Development Corp. (HVEDC), the organization includes food businesses, farmers, vegetable growers, beverage makers, distributors and other organizations that support those in the industry.
“We are extremely happy to welcome these businesses to the Food & Beverage Alliance, as they will help drive the success of the industry as a whole in the Hudson Valley,” said Mike Oates, President and CEO of HVEDC. “From an accounting firm to a bakery business, the food and beverage industry encompasses a wide range of areas. These organizations have a lot to contribute to the Alliance’s mission and goals.”
Companies joining the Alliance include Judelson, Giordano & Siegel, CPA, PC, a full service accounting and business consulting firm with a notable history of providing unequalled financial, tax and management consulting services. The firm, which has 80 years of experience, is located in Middletown and works with a national base of clients ranging from small, local businesses to publicly traded corporations. Judelson, Giordano & Siegel is a recognized leader in providing accounting, tax and consulting services to wholesale food and beverage manufacturers and distributors.
The Fresh n’ Easy Bakery, also located in Kingston, offers fresh food that customers can either eat in or take out, as well as daily lunch specials. With great coffee, fresh pastries and a variety of other treats, it’s a great place to meet with friends and family.
“It is an honor to join the Hudson Valley Food & Beverage Alliance,” said Frank P. Giordano Jr., CPA, shareholder and managing partner of Judelson, Giordano & Siegel. “Our specialty in the beer distribution business specifically and the beverage industry generally is an excellent match. We have a tradition with the food manufacturing industry for as long as we have been in existence and we continue to work in all sectors of manufacturing. We look forward to partnering with others in the food and beverage industry to build an even more vibrant Hudson Valley.”
“The Hudson Valley is a true hotspot for the food and beverage industry, driven in large part by small businesses like our bakery and café,” said Linda Bang, owner of Fresh n’ Easy Bakery. “It’s great that a small café like ours can work together with large companies to further our collective goals. We’re very pleased to take part in the Food & Beverage Alliance.”
