Middletown, NY- The Greater Hudson Valley Health System, comprised of Orange Regional Medical Center and Catskill Regional Medical Center, will present a free and informative program called “Diabetes Head to Toe: What You Need to Know” on Saturday, November 16 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Orange Regional Medical Center’s Outpatient Services Building in conference rooms A, B and C, located at 707 East Main Street, Middletown. Diabetes educators and experienced physicians knowledgeable about diabetes will be on hand to discuss topics such as “Diabetes: Let’s Learn More”, “Diabetes and Kidney Disease: What You Need to Know”, “The Mouth Body Connection: Diabetes and Dentistry”, “Put Your Best Foot Forward: Improving Foot Health” and more. Guest speakers will include Elliott Friedman, MD, FACE, Sergio Obligado, MD, Thomas Littner, DDS, and Bruce Fischer, DPM, FACFAS.

Diet, insulin and oral medication to lower blood glucose levels are the foundation of diabetes treatment and management.
