GILLETTE CREAMERY JOINS THE FOOD & BEVERAGE ALLIANCE

Hudson Valley Economic Development CorporationNew Windsor, NY (January 28, 2013) – Gillette Creamery, the largest distributor of ice cream in eastern New York, has joined the Hudson Valley Food & Beverage Alliance as a founding member.

Gillette Creamery is a family-owned and operated multi-line Food Distribution Company based in Gardiner, NY, specializing in offering a full line of ice cream, frozen, refrigerated and dry food products. They service 20 counties throughout the entire Hudson Valley, Albany Capital district and the Adirondacks.

The Food & Beverage Alliance focuses on helping food and beverage companies in the area work together as strong partners, as well as market their products all over the United States. Launched by the Hudson Valley Economic Development Corp. (HVEDC), the organization includes food businesses, farmers, vegetable growers, beverage makers, distributors and other organizations in the industry.

In 2010 they expanded into their new facility in Gardiner, NY and they have a secondary depot in Albany, NY. They Company has grown to include over 80 employees with 26 trucks.
