Provisions in Place to Provide a Safe Golfing Experience
Middletown, NY – The Garnet Health Foundation, formerly Orange Regional Medical Center Foundation, is pleased to announce the Healey Brothers 29th Annual Golf Classic.
The event will be held over two days, Monday, September 14 and Tuesday, September 15 at West Hills Country Club, in Middletown, NY and the Golf Club at Mansion Ridge, in Monroe, NY to split the field of golfers which normally would be a one day event.
Golfers attending this year’s Annual Golf Classic will be provided sanitizers from Black Dirt CBD and socially distance requirements will be in place. Golfers will have their own cart, to-go meals, and day-of registration and scoring will be supported through smart phones. High quality golfer gifts and prizes are, again, part of the program.
“We have modified this event to keep everybody’s health and safety a top priority,” said William Dauster, Garnet Health Foundation President. “The event will provide golfer choices for four rounds of golf over the two days to distance participants on and off the course.”
The golf event on September 14 will offer “Better Ball” at West Hills and Mansion Ridge and on September 15, participants will play a golf “Scramble” at both courses.
Dauster said all event proceeds will be benefit the new expansion and renovation of the Emergency Department and Trauma Center at Garnet Health Medical Center. The Garnet Health Foundation will formally announce a capital campaign to support the project in the fall.
