Full-service firm is the only N.Y. agency outside New York City to make PR Week’s Top 200
Goshen, N.Y. (May 19, 2011) – Focus Media, Inc., a full-service Hudson Valley-based public relations and marketing firm, grew 167% in staff between 2009 and 2010. This established the firm as the fastest growing public relations agency in the eastern U.S. and No. 2 in the nation according to PR Week’s annual Top 200 list.
Focus Media was PR Week’s only nationally-ranked agency in the state outside of New York City. Other accomplishments included:
- Focus Media is the 4th fastest growing agency in the northeast in public relations revenue, with a 52% increase for 2009-2010.
- Focus Media’s total combined agency revenues were even more substantial, up 96% for 2009-2010 (PR Week’s revenue rankings were based solely on public relations fees).
- Focus Media ranks 54th among all public relations firms in the northeast.
- Focus Media ranks 156th among all public relations firms in the nation.
- Focus Media’s growth is notable as compared to other firms on the list, which expanded on average by 17% in staff and 15% in revenue.
