Dirks, a seasoned marketing executive with experience working for Fortune 100 companies as well as startups, also brings an extensive competitive analysis and business strategy background to the firm and will deepen the scope of what Focus Media offers to its clients. Dirks will specialize in working with companies on a deeper marketing and sales strategy level, helping make them improve their customer retention and increase revenues by raising sales conversion.
Prior to joining Focus Media, Dirks held senior marketing positions with J.P. Morgan Chase, Mellon/Dreyfus and DeGeorge Financial. He has also served as President/CEO of the Orange County Partnership. Dirks is a contributing member of the McKinsey Quarterly Executive Panel and Managing Director of Dirks on Strategy Media, which handles his publications.
