C.W. Brown joins Hudson Valley Food & Beverage Alliance
NEW WINDSOR, N.Y. (Nov. 30, 2011) – A business development and marketing executive is the newest member on the board of the Hudson Valley Economic Development Corp.

velopment Manager for The Chazen Companies for two years. Before establishing herself in the corporate world, Griffin Loosen spe

nt the majority of her career in the political arena working for former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and former Congresswoman Sue Kelly. Her past experience of service for varied constituencies in the Hudson Valley has provided her with an acute awareness of the growing demands on the business community.

he NY BioHud Valley initiative, has also joined the newly formed Hudson Valley Food & Beverage Alliance as a founding member. The Alliance is a new initiative by HVEDC that focuses on marketing the abundance of food and beverage companies located in the Hudson Valley to the rest of the country.
“Erin will not only bring her energy to the board but also her variety of experience that includes business development and marketing, which is very important as HVEDC continues to grow,” said Mike Oates, CEO and President of the group. “We are thrilled to have Erin join our Board of Directors. become a founding member of the Food & Beverage Alliance is wonderful too. Brown  to economic development projects in the Hudson Valley, but as the youngest member of the board I will also be bringing a unique understanding of the critical issues facing young professionals in this economy,” she said. “I hope that my knowledge and experience will help us grow the number of opportunities for those young professionals in the Hudson Valley.”
Griffin Loosen is a board member of the Westchester County Young Professionals and a past recipient of the Rising Stars 40 under 40 Award.
